My story starts with back surgery in 2005. The next few years I struggled to recover a basic level of fitness.  Looking for something new, a friend of mine introduced me to CrossFit in 2008.  Like many people, I was quickly hooked!  After needing help to just get out of bed with a bad back; I never imagined that I would be able to squat over 400# and enjoy working out so much.

In early 2010 I took the leap and signed up for the CrossFit level 1 seminar. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to attend multiple CrossFit gyms and other fitness classes, including the CrossFit Movement and Mobility seminar, Pose Running instructor course, and the Crossfit Level 1 certificate again in 2015.

CrossFit has given me the unique opportunity to learn from some of the top coaches in the sport and train with athletes all around the world.  Being a CrossFit Level 1 certificate holder has allowed me to instruct and help those same athletes achieve their goals.  After my family, the CrossFit Community is one of the most important things in my life
